When should you switch models?

Do not switch just because a model is new. Switch when it beats your current setup on a real task you repeat: drafting, research, spreadsheet cleanup, coding, image creation, customer support, or content planning.

  2. Run the same prompt in your current model and the new model.
  3. Compare accuracy, speed, editing needed, and final usefulness.
  4. Only switch if the new model clearly saves time or improves quality.
